Apple’s blue M2 iPad Air just hit the Amazon low down at $549 shipped

1 week ago 6

While we have seen the Gray and Starlight models go for $20 less, Amazon has now dropped the most affordable new M2 iPad Air down to its all-time low price in blue. You can now score the 128GB model down at $549 shipped. Regularly $599, this is a straight up $50 price drop and the lowest we have seen the blue model drop to over at Amazon. This one is still up at full price via Best Buy and starts at $527 in “excellent” open-box condition.

While for some folks the 128GB of storage just isn’t going to cut it, those looking to land a new 2024 iPad in the sub $599 price range don’t really have much of a choice. And frankly, you can always leverage the USB-C jack to bring some external storage to the situation when needed. For me the M2 Air really shines most in the lowest-priced configurations – once you get up to the 1TB 11-inch or the higher-end 13-inch models you’ll be spending enough to just buy a lower-tier M4 iPad Pro.

Either way, if you have had your eye on the blue model, and a relatively affordable new 2024 tablet experience from Apple, today’s deal is worth consideration. Price drops on the M2 Air lineup have been far less aggressive than what we have seen on the M4 iPad Pro, but you certainly aren’t getting one of those for under $600 anyway.

Folks looking for an even more casual and affordable iPad purchase should look towards the current-generation iPad 10 you can score for much less.

Apple 13-inch M2 iPad Air features:

Now available in a 13-inch model, iPad Air is supercharged by the incredibly fast Apple M2 chip. It features a stunning Liquid Retina display, a new landscape camera perfect for FaceTime and video calls, and superfast Wi-Fi 6E. And it works with the new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard, so you can multitask, study, work, play, and create from anywhere.
